Dział Spraw studenckich (DSS) znajduje się w siedzibie głównej Uczelni. Zajmuje się m.in.: wydawaniem dokumentów związanych z tokiem studiów, zaświadczeń o statusie studenta, o opłatach za studia oraz wydawaniem legitymacji studenckich (w tym duplikatów). W DSS przyjmowane są deklaracje zmiany obszaru/kierunku/formy/trybu studiów, deklaracje wpisu warunkowego, wnioski o powtarzanie roku, udzielenie urlopu dziekańskiego, deklaracje Indywidualnej Organizacji Studiów, a także inne wnioski kierowane do Dziekana i Rektora. Ponadto BOS udziela informacji na temat różnic efektów kształcenia do uzupełnienia, a także przygotowuje dokumenty związane z procesem ukończenia studiów.

The Dean's Office - Student Service Office at the seat of the University, operating within the structure of the Student Affairs Department, accompanies the student throughout the course of study. It deals mainly with issuing documents related to the course of study, student status certificates of and student ID cards (including duplicates). The Student Service Office accepts declarations of changes in the area / field of study /form / mode of study, declarations of conditional entry, applications for repeating the year, granting dean's leave, declarations of the Individual Organisation of Studies, as well as other applications addressed to the Dean and the Rector. Moreover, the Student Service Office provides information on the differences in educational results to be supplemented, and prepares documents related to the process of completing the studies.

Zajęcia dydaktyczne planowane są od 1 października 2020 r., zgodnie z planem zajęć dydaktycznych. Plan zajęć dla poszczególnych obszarów studiów będzie dostępny na indywidulanych kontach Studentów w ISAPS (www.wsg.new.isaps.pl, w zakładce Rozkład zajęć). Należy każdorazowo sprawdzać rozkład przed zajęciami dydaktycznymi oraz odczytywać wiadomości przesyłane przez iSAPS, gdyż ze względu na nieprzewidziane okoliczności mogą pojawiać się w nim zmiany terminów i godzin zajęć lub przydziału sali dydaktycznej. Wszelkie pytania i uwagi związane z rozkładem zajęć czy ich realizacją można przesyłać na adres zajecia@byd.pl.
Ogólnouczelniana inauguracja roku akademickiego 2020/2021 planowana jest na 10 października 2020. Szczegóły, w tym forma przeprowadzenia tej uroczystości będą podane w komunikatach w ISAPS. /
Classes are planned from October 1, 2020, in accordance with the timetable. The timetable for individual study areas will be available on individual Student accounts at ISAPS (www.wsg.new.isaps.pl , in the Timetable tab). You should always check the timetable before classes and read the messages sent by iSAPS, because due to unforeseen circumstances, there may be changes in the dates and times of classes or the allocation of the classroom. Any questions and comments related to the timetable or their implementation can be sent to zajecia@byd.pl .
The university-wide inauguration of the 2020/2021 academic year is planned for October 10, 2020. Details, including the form of the ceremony, will be provided in ISAPS announcements.
Każdy student ma prawo do otrzymania legitymacji studenckiej. Wymogiem niezbędnym do jej otrzymania jest wgranie do systemu iSAPS zdjęcia zgodnego z wytycznymi obowiązującymi przy wydawaniu dowodów osobistych. Przedłużanie ważności legitymacji studenckiej odbywa się w Biurze Obsługi Studenta. Legitymacja studencka WSG może posłużyć studentowi jako bydgoska karta miejska (konieczna aktywacja legitymacji w siedzibie ZDMiKP) oraz karta wjazdowa na parkingi WSG (wymagana podpisana umowa o parking z WSG). Upoważnia ona również do wielu zniżek. Obecnie legitymacje z hologramem z datą 31 października 2020 zgodnie z informacją Ministerstwa Nauki i Szkolnictwa Wyższego są ważne co najmniej do 30 listopada i nie ma obowiązku wizyty w Uczelni, aby przedłużyć ważność legitymacji. /
Every student has the right to receive a student ID card. A necessary requirement to obtain it is to upload a photograph into the iSAPS system in accordance with the guidelines applicable to the issuance of identity cards. The validity of the student ID card is extended at the Student Service Office. The student ID card can be used by the student as a Bydgoszcz city card (the card must be activated at the Road and Public Transportation Office) and as an entry card to the University’s car parks (a signed agreement for a car park is required). It also authorises to many discounts. Currently, cards with a hologram dated October 31, 2020, according to the information of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, are valid at least until November 30 and there is no obligation to visit the University to extend the validity of the card.
ISAPS jest systemem informatycznym przeznaczonym dla kandydatów na studia, studentów oraz pracowników WSG. System ten daje Studentowi możliwość sprawdzania zdobywanych ocen/zaliczeń, rozkładu zajęć, informacji przesyłanych przez wykładowców, składania m.in. wniosków stypendialnych. Ponieważ tą drogą przesyłane są także ważne komunikaty związane z tokiem studiów oraz opłatami za studia student powinien regularnie logować się do systemu. ISAPS is an IT system designed for candidates for studies, students and the employees of University of Economy. The system gives students an opportunity to check the obtained grades/credits, the schedule of classes, information sent by the lecturers, and to submit grant applications. As important messages related to the course of studies and tuition fees are also sent this way, students should regularly log in to the system. In case of any difficulties in logging in, please contact the Student Service Office (dziekanat@byd.pl, 52 567 00 45/75).
Uczelnia zapewnia Studentom różnorodne formy pomocy finansowej. Wypracowane przez lata programy m.in. ”Zarabiaj na swoje studia” czy wyróżniona w ministerialnym konkursie Uczelnia Liderów, system bonów edukacyjnych i zniżek rodzinnych oraz dotowane kierunki studiów, pozwalają na objęcie systemowym wsparciem dużej liczby studentów, także tych z zagranicy. Co bardzo ważne, w WSG o stypendia mogą ubiegać się już kandydaci. Studenci WSG znajdujący się w trudnej sytuacji materialnej mogą ubiegać się o stypendium socjalne. Osoby z niepełnosprawnością posiadające orzeczenie o stopniu niepełnosprawności lub równoważne, mogą ubiegać się o stypendium dla osób niepełnosprawnych. Studenci mają również możliwość ubiegania się o stypendium Rektora za wyróżniające wyniki w nauce, osiągnięcia naukowe, artystyczne lub osiągnięcia sportowe. The University provides students with various forms of financial assistance. The programmes developed over the years, such as “Earn for your studies” or the University of Leaders' Award granted in the ministerial competition, the system of educational vouchers and family discounts, as well as subsidised fields of study, allow a large number of students, including those from abroad, to be covered by the system. What is very important, candidates can already apply for scholarships at University of Economy. The University’s students in a difficult financial situation may apply for a social grant. Disabled people with a disability certificate or its equivalent can apply for a grant for the disabled persons. Students can also apply for the Rector's scholarship for outstanding learning outcomes, scientific and artistic achievements or sports achievements. They may also apply for a one-off grant. W Uczelni działa Biuro ds. Osób Niepełnosprawnych, którego zakres działań obejmuje szeroko pojętą pomoc osobom z niepełnosprawnościami. Wyróżnić można m.in.: pomoc w rozwiązywaniu problemów związanych ze studiowaniem i aklimatyzacją w nowym środowisku oraz udzielanie informacji i pośredniczenie w ubieganiu się o pomoc materialną oferowaną przez PFRON z programu Aktywny Samorząd. Każdy Student WSG posiadający aktualne orzeczenie o stopniu niepełnosprawności lub równoważne, może ubiegać się o stypendium dla osób niepełnosprawnych, ponadto stypendium socjalne, stypendium Rektora dla najlepszych studentów i zapomogę. Uczelnia umożliwia: korzystanie z indywidualnych form studiowania, dostosowanie indywidualnej formy zdawania egzaminów i zaliczeń, gdy niepełnosprawność tego wymaga, a także przedłużenie czasu ich trwania, wspomaganie studiowania za pomocą Internetu, a także wypożyczenie różnego rodzaju urządzeń w zależności od charakteru niepełnosprawności. The scope of the Office for People with Disabilities, which operates at the University, includes broadly defined assistance for people with disabilities. It provides assistance in solving problems connected with studying and acclimatisation in a new environment, and provides information and acts as an intermediary in applying for material assistance offered by PFRON (National Disabled Persons Rehabilitation Fund) under the Active Local Government programme. Each student of the University with a current disability certificate or its equivalent can apply for a grant for the disabled, as well as a social grants, the Rector's scholarship for the best students and allowance. The University enables: the use of individual forms of studying, adjustment of the individual form of taking exams and obtaining credits when the disability requires it, as well as extension of their duration, support of studying via the Internet, as well as lending of various types of equipment depending on the nature of the disability. On www.student.wsg.byd.pl in the News section, all important and useful information concerning the course of studies, announcements related to the organisation and functioning of the University and the Research and Teaching Units, as well as proposals for participation in competitions for students are placed on an ongoing basis.
Każdy student przez cały tok studiów może liczyć na pomoc i wsparcie koordynatora Instytutu/Katedry, odpowiedniego dla swojego kierunku i obszaru studiów. Koordynator odpowie na pytania dotyczące planu studiów i wymaganych zaliczeń, dyżurów poszczególnych wykładowców, pomoże w kontakcie z prowadzącymi zajęcia dydaktyczne. Each student can count on the help and support of the Institute/Department Coordinator, competent for their field and area of study, throughout the entire course of studies. The coordinator will answer questions concerning the study plan and the required credits, the duty of individual lecturers, and will help in contacting the teaching staff. The current list of coordinators with contact details is available on www.student.wsg.byd.pl in the Institutes section.
