ADDITIONAL FEES

Applicable additional fees are included in the Regulations of Fees for Studies received when signing the Study Agreement or an annex to the abovementioned agreement.

The fee for the ceremonial completion of studies results from non-teaching costs associated with the final stage of study, including:

• preparation of a special setting for public defense of diploma theses,
• preparation of various forms of promotion of the best diploma theses, including competitions in cooperation with industry institutions and employers' representatives,
• creating a publicly available database of diploma theses,
• preparation of solemn public graduation (diploma),
• commemorative cap
• memorial album,
• graduate card,
• implementation of other forms of direct promotion of graduates on the labor market.

In addition, future engineers and graduate students will be able to refund some of the costs of preparing their diploma thesis documentation, especially those with a high degree of applicability.

We mention that both the form of the diploma and other elements related to the final stage of studies and support for graduates have been repeatedly consulted with student government bodies, and for several years also with the association of graduates, and some of them are even initiatives of these bodies. Thus, they have become an inseparable element of study, inscribed in the tradition of the University of Economy, expected by students, graduates and, what is particularly important by their families and employers.

It is important that the scope of services has significantly expanded over the years.

At the same time, we emphasize that the University does not charge a universal diploma fee at other universities.

Each Student concluding an Agreement with the University of Economy is informed about the fees applicable at the University, including the abovementioned fee.

Obowiązujące opłaty dodatkowe zawarte są w Regulaminie Opłat za Studia otrzymanym przy podpisywaniu Umowy o Studia lub aneksu do ww. Umowy.

Opłata za uroczyste zakończenie studiów wynika z kosztów pozadydaktycznych związanych z końcowym etapem studiów, w tym:

• przygotowaniem specjalnej oprawy publicznych obron prac dyplomowych,
• przygotowaniem różnych form promocji najlepszych prac dyplomowych, w tym konkursów we współpracy z instytucjami branżowymi i przedstawicielami pracodawców,
• tworzeniem ogólnodostępnej bazy prac dyplomowych,
• przygotowaniem uroczystego, publicznego zakończenia studiów (dyplomatorium),
• pamiątkowym biretem,
• albumem pamiątkowym,
• kartą absolwenta,
• realizacją innych form bezpośredniej promocji absolwentów na rynku pracy.

Dodatkowo w przypadku przyszłych inżynierów i magistrantów przewiduje się specjalną możliwość refundacji części kosztów przygotowania dokumentacji prac dyplomowych, szczególnie tych o wysokim stopniu aplikacyjności.

Nadmieniamy, że zarówno forma dyplomatorium, jak pozostałe elementy związane z końcowym etapem studiów i wsparciem absolwentów były wielokrotnie konsultowane z organami Samorządu Studenckiego, a od kilku lat również ze stowarzyszeniem absolwentów, a niektóre z nich są wręcz inicjatywami tych organów. Tym samym stały się nierozłącznym elementem studiów, wpisanym w tradycję Wyższej Szkoły Gospodarki, oczekiwanym przez studentów, absolwentów oraz co szczególnie ważne przez ich rodziny i pracodawców.

Ważny jest fakt, iż zakres świadczeń na przestrzeni lat znacząco się rozszerza.

Jednocześnie podkreślamy że Uczelnia nie pobiera powszechnej na innych uczelniach opłaty za wydanie dyplomu.

Każdy Student zawierający Umowę z Wyższą Szkołą Gospodarki jest poinformowany o obowiązujących na Uczelni opłatach, w tym również o ww. opłacie.
